We never *needed* motion controls but the Wii was an important console and left a lasting legacy of getting people involved in video games who never did before. So, by that token, I'd argue we did need a generation of motion controls.

Not thinking TLOU needed a remake and being OK with the potential of WW/TPHD isn't as hypocritical as some think. There's no way to play WW/TPHD on Switch, but you can play TLOU on PS5. It's about wanting those games on your current platform.

Saw Frankie Boyle tonight. I always mistakenly put him in the Gervais-type comedy where it's just constant jokes about trans people or some shit, but not at all - always punching up at the people that deserve to be ridiculed. Government, religion, billionaires, JK. Great stuff

Climbing anywhere you want is one of the best parts of the game. The stamina bar makes sense, as it encourages you to upgrade to explore more areas and, even if you don't, you can cook meals to get higher.

Controversial opinion, but I think too many people consider 30fps borders on unplayable and it's just so baffling to me. Would it be nice to be 60? Sure. Does it matter to me when a game is 30? Not one tiny little bit. The toy-throwing over 30fps is a bit much.
