Something has to be done about how much AAU tournaments are charging Parents to watch games. I understand cost of gym rentals, refs, and workers. I get it but there’s no reason to charge $20 or more for the day. Ppl can’t afford that. It has to change.

There’s a severe disconnect in Oklahoma recruiting Oklahoma kids. Because if these kids were from Texas they would have offers. It honestly makes no sense why Local Colleges keep letting these kids go elsewhere. 2023 class is getting that same treatment 2021 and 22 got smh.

LNC is the worst venue for HS basketball. HS players feed off the crowd the energy in the building. Seating is too far from the players. They should’ve just let the games be at Noble High School.

Douglass vs Kingfisher was a classic game. Please let’s not ruin it by blaming the refs. The Refs didn’t help one team win and the other lose. The Players decided the outcome. S/o to both Coaching Staffs and both teams.

I know everyone is for Oklahoma but it seems like they are only for OKC and Tulsa Metro. There’s a lot of talent in these Rural Areas. The Oklahoma Basketball Community as a Whole has to do a better Job of Promoting those Kids. Hidden Gems everywhere.

Man my first year at SCU there were 60 new players Freshman, juco, transfers etc.. by the end of the semester there were 12. By year 3 of the 60 I started with there were 4 including myself. College isn’t for everybody and College basketball isn’t for everybody.

BTW closed it out despite the foul trouble. Going to be tough to beat them for 4 qtrs. I don’t think anybody in the state has the collection of guards they do. There’s not one player you have to worry about. They all can shoot, create off the bounce, defend and hit free throws.

I like Player Rankings, just because I love the barbershop talk it brings. But if you are ranking more than 25- 30 players stop, you haven’t seen all these kids play. You have seen them once maybe twice max. Impossible to give a fair assessment on a player after two viewings.

There's NO Talent Gap in the HS divison in Oklahoma. A lot of kids have a chip on their shoulder. If you aren't ready to play you will lose. Folks too worried about the front of the Jersey. That means NOTHING.
