@westernproducer Sounds like sour grapes. It was ok for other farmers to clear bush but not the new owners. Kotelko and his friends maybe should have bought a few quarters then to save the trees if they wanted. It’s not up to private individuals to provide habitat for the public to enjoy.

@LHubich My personal opinion is that all unions should be abolished. Wages are higher in the private sector versus a union job in lots of situations. Good employees will always be able to get a premium wage compared to guys who wouldn’t have a job without the union protecting them.

@zeefarmer This video is from a couple years ago. Section of barley stubble on fire. Fire department couldn’t really do anything. Spread into my standing soybeans. Had to protill a couple passes in them and the neighbours canola swaths to save a yard. Grader wouldn’t have kept up.
