While there is a low risk of a strong storm today, chances for strong to severe storms will increase Saturday night into Sunday morning across most areas but mainly the Rio Grande Plains, Hill Country, and Edwards Plateau. Large hail and damaging winds are the main risk.
Showers and storms are forecast Saturday night into Sunday morning. Scattered storms could become severe during this time, mainly across the Hill Country, southern Edwards Plateau and Rio Grande. Details will be refined over the next 48 hours.
Fair weather prevails today through much of next week. Well below normal temperatures on today into Monday will warm to above normal later in the week. A small chance of rain returns Thursday for the northern counties.
