I left Apple this month after 6 years (9 including Workflow!)
When we made the Workflow app at a hackathon, I never dreamed that it would be preinstalled on every iPhone, and power systems like Shortcuts and App Intents. I’m so grateful for this journey and for our team.

I’ve loved Apple and its products since I was a kid, and getting to work there, along with so many talented people, has been a real honor, and a lot of fun.
So it’s really tough to leave, but I’m excited to take some time off, and build something new!
I used to have a website called WinX, (which was about making Windows look like Mac OS X - I desperately wanted a Mac), so it seemed appropriate for my username to match.
Want to learn more about what’s new in Shortcuts and SiriKit and how your apps can take advantage of it? Make sure to tune into our developer sessions this week, starting tomorrow!
So excited to dig into Federico's monumental iOS 13 review. Especially thrilled to see the great and thorough coverage of the new version of Shortcuts:
I’ve been working on this for 3 months, pouring hundreds of hours into it. And here it is:
My iOS and iPadOS 13 review:
I covered everything: iOS 13, iPadOS, Shortcuts, and iOS 13.1.
Enjoy!
Password managers make me sad. I feel like either I’m using them wrong, or there’s some missing fit and finish that I would think would be solved by now.
My favorite part is how it feels on mobile - try it on iPhone!
Note how you can scroll naturally on longer pages in the app, and how entering an email address into the Sign Up alert's text field works (hint: secret HTML input element).
This is unbelievably awful. It makes me sick to my stomach that the President leaving the hospital, convinced that he's all better, when he's probably only in the early stages of recovery and certainly still contagious and at risk for developing serious symptoms.
I will be leaving the great Walter Reed Medical Center today at 6:30 P.M. Feeling really good! Don’t be afraid of Covid. Don’t let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs & knowledge. I feel better than I did 20 years ago!
Pixelmator Pro 2.2 is now available!
It brings support for macOS Monterey and big performance boosts on the new M1 Pro and M1 Max devices, adds 28 powerful actions for the Shortcuts app, includes a new Split Comparison view, and much more.

I’m super worried about democracy in the 2022 midterms.
If you want to support candidates who will preserve it, we made a list of races where $ will make the most impact. Consider donating!
Very happy to get to work with

i'm concerned about the political landscape in the USA. some elements of the republican party are becoming increasingly anti-democratic.
the 2022 midterms could be an inflection point that leads to undermining elections in 2024. (or it could all be fine! but there's real risk.)
So excited and inspired to see my friend Zak running for congress.
He’s running against noted pathological liar George Santos, too! My popcorn is ready 🍿
