Great news from our Tetney Blow Wells site in Lincs which has become the county’s 2nd ever recorded breeding site for the UK’s rarest bat, Nathusius' pipistrelle. We’ve had confirmation the bats are using boxes erected at the site to start a breeding colony! 🦇😍

This is why you shouldn't flush wipes! This monster made of wet wipes and other unflushables had to be lifted out of a chamber by a crane at our Cliff Quay treatment works in Ipswich recently. Even when they say 'flushable' most wipes will not break down in the sewer.

Here's one of our emergency tankers at 5am yesterday in Suffolk keeping the taps on for customers while urgent work was taking place on the local network. Thank you to all our frontline colleagues out working during lockdown, and all the key workers out looking after our region.

A 9000 litre tanker plugged directly into the network to supply the Elm Lodge residential and nursing home for the elderly in Linslade today. We are doing everything we can to get water to people and prioritising those most vulnerable.

Tankers & staff from our Restoration team have spent 3 days helping our friends at @unitedutilities get communities in Cumbria back on water after Storm Ciara damaged a main. Great to work alongside @stwater and @YorkshireWater as well, pulling together across the industry 🤝💧
