The indigenous Taino people suffered due to disease brought by Europeans & slave labor. As the indigenous population declined near extinction, the island was repopulated with African slaves. This is why Hispaniola now know as Haiti & the Dominican Republic is predominantly Black.
Haitian ๐ญ๐น xenophobia and anti-blackness in the Dominican Republic ๐ฉ๐ด is dying. Looking forward to the new generation of Dominicans who are no longer believing the lies and embracing their rootsโฆ
Haitian ๐ญ๐น woman mistaken for a Panamanian ๐ต๐ฆ woman by a Puerto Rican ๐ต๐ท woman. Dominican ๐ฉ๐ด woman yells โwe are neighborsโ ๐ซถ๐ผ . At the end of the day love is a universal language.
This is the face of an identity crisis who spreads misinformation and anti-black rhetoric on X daily. A Uncle Ruckus has manifested itself to run a small Dominican hate group, he is the battery in their backs he calls himself โThe Empireโ
@TheeEmpiire
the jokes write themselves.
The hate group on X claims that colorism isnโt a driving factor for deportations in Republica Dominicana ๐ฉ๐ด. The natives are experiencing a completely different reality. Is the problem really โillegalโ Haitians๐ญ๐น or is this just an excuse & opportunity to exercise colorism in DR?
Anti-Haitians ๐ญ๐น in the Dominican Republic ๐ฉ๐ด seem to always spew a false rhetoric of Haitian โinvasionsโ. Haiti only had one objective and that was to liberate the island and other nations from all colonial powers. Haiti is a beacon of liberation, the martyrs of the free world.
Haitians๐ญ๐น are the scapegoats for Dominican๐ฉ๐ด problems. Meanwhile, our own people are destroying DR and continue to point fingers at Haitians. Itโs always about profit with us, That is our biggest issue. $8 Million of drug (fentanyl) money from New York to the Dominican Republic.
This is the confidence the hate Group on X fears Afro - Dominicans, Haitians, and the black diaspora will have, but it is inevitable black is beautiful not an insult.
Iโve heard people of Spain ๐ช๐ธ refer to Dominicans ๐ฉ๐ด as the โNโ words of the Caribbean, and yet the colonizer sympathizers on X claim them as if they see us as their own. Itโs time to anchor ourselves to roots that will embrace us & who we are genetically the black race.
When Haiti shook the world in 1804, the powers that be made it their business to defame what a First Black Republic looks like. This is why we say
#FreeHaiti
โฆ
DR ๐ฉ๐ด has a right to protect its borders but I will never advocate for the dehumanization of the Haitian ๐ญ๐น people. Racial slurs, spreading propaganda, inflammatory stats and fake news in the Dominican Republic is turning the Dominican flag into a hate symbol.
@bertrhude
The multiple haters trying to deflect the fact that Haitians are invested in their own progress is weirdo behavior. This canal is from a Haitian river also ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ
Race baiting has become a commodity on X, multiple verified accounts on this platform are monetizing. Theyโre paid for interactions and engagements on tweets. Do not engage with post with hateful rhetoric you are inadvertently funding them, and pushing their false narratives.
@YSLONIKA
@icespicee_
Oh god you guys need genetic classes specifically on phenotypes and what races they belong to, and the multiple shades melanin comes in
@HispanistaRD
Wars lead by influence and rulers of Spain ( colonizers ) not Dominicans. The Dominican restoration war fought by Haitians and Dominicans in 1863 - 1865 against Spain is our war of independence
@YvesBail2
The white supremacist Spanish ๐ช๐ธ posing as Dominicans ๐ฉ๐ด try their best to preserve the falsehoods of Dominican history with Haiti because they truly donโt belong in DR, it would expose them as the true invaders.
@kankhunt2
@ShiaLeBoofPack
It seems quite convenient and constructed that most if not all practices of whites are legalized while the practices of other races for livelihood are ostracized, smeared, and deemed illegal
@Joe__Bassey
The negative commenters fear Haitians taking pride in their rich royal origins, so they revert to magnifying the current state of Haiti without acknowledging the causes of such circumstances.
@PapitoLoquitoo
@NjPier
@klkmanitord
@JC271985
The fact that those hateful ideals still exist just goes to show you the number Spain did on DR along with Trujillo. โMejorar la Razaโ is a cancer that needs to die quickly.
My fellow Africans & West Indians, PLEASE let Black Americans enjoy their Juneteenth in peace. Shit got NOTHING to do with Africa, thatโs THEIR holiday. Itโs Caribbean heritage month yโall focus on that. You can support & enjoy from the sideline but itโs NOT our holiday.
@Melissa_stylezz
DR is a foreign investor prison it barely belongs to Dominicans itโs for asylum and tourism. So when you say people come to benefit youโre exactly right our government has made our country a business deal. We are pawns they leave us outraged and continue to do whatโs makes money
@logyc_mind
the Spanish and French permitted the importation of African slaves in the early 16th century. This marked the beginning of a long history of African presence on the island, which has had significant cultural and demographic impacts up to the present day.
@YourFellowArab
Still trying to capitalize on the pain of Haitians I see, keep their names out your pathetic mouth. You were pleading for their forgiveness not to long ago.
@lilugglii
@travis74270378
His hate is merely to blend in but he never will be what he dreams to be. He canโt be Haitian theyโre nowhere near hateful.
This is a summary of Hispaniolaโs history, if you want the time periods etc.. please further your research. This is why theyโre considered black to the world. Haitians and Dominicans are predominantly descendants of Africans.
@henryamaury01
@thalie718
@bertrhude
donโt @ me you ignorant Haitian hater my flag will be mine forever youโll never change that ๐๐ผ Dominican pride isnโt Haitian hate loser.
@klkmanitord
False
Haiti has stood by the Dominican Republic for ages and freed Hispaniola from imperial rule, but the Dominican Republic insisted on getting their independence from a allied Haiti to beg Spain to colonize them
I blew up Dominican Hate Group X with one comment and left. I had no time to do this all day, I come back to all this nonsense chaos from them ๐๐คฃ๐ญ
@JoeCSly
Then why is our government letting them in they need them for labor that Dominicans wonโt do but tell you otherwise, the biggest distraction in the book
@MrScript0
@TheeEmpiire
Why are you trying to save face for him, are you part of the Dominican hate group by any chance? Itโs all too obvious that it is him
@ciaramasterxo
@bertrhude
Haitiโs self sufficiency challenges the ego theyโve built on seeing Haitians as less thenโฆ they need someone to turn their nose up tooโฆ ITS EGO
@Caribbean_Lion
@redstreamnet
Haiti never invaded they occupied after assisting DR to abolish colonization our education system was set up by colonizers that is the real misinformation
@JulioEAH
@HuertasDean
In the 19th century under the leadership of Henri Christophe and Jean-Jacques Dessalines they implemented various economic and social reforms, and Haiti became one of the wealthiest nations in the Caribbean due to its successful agricultural exports, including coffee and indigo.
@bertrhude
so much unwarranted Dominican hate on here its disgusting sad to see... Truly most of you are not interested in the advancement of our Haitian brothers and sisters
@Ciriakito7_
Africans mixed with Tainoโs serval times over as the island was repopulated time after time. When other African slaves died or were moved to other plantations more were shipped to Hispaniola , thereโs a very low percentage of Taino in Dominicans the island is predominantly black.
@UptownNv
@HispanistaRD
Heโs a colonizer sympathizerโฆ Dominicans were simply following directions from Spain when Haiti was pushed out. The real Dominicans that wanted DR free asked for Haitiโs assistance in kicking Spain out again, Haiti had no issue with that itโs what they lived to do. ๐ญ๐น๐ค๐ผ๐ฉ๐ด
@SmallPeople6
This is extremely xenophobic and racist. I thought DR was mixed with all shades of black. This minstrel character is what fuels the anti-black rhetoric and treatment in DR against darker Dominicans and Haitians.
