If you genuinely want to get good at Apex the absolute most efficient way to improve is to Solo pubs or Solo ranked and just try to take as many fights as possible. Don't be afraid to die. The more you die the more you learn and more you can improve.

Watching all these new streamers come to Apex just showcases how flawed the current ranked system really is. Low entry costs and no demotion creates such a massive wall once you hit diamond instead of having a steady curve all the way you just straight up faceplant.

The Ranked point system really needs to go. It forces teams to take bad fights and int because you literally gain 0 points if you don't. Which ends up with 5 squads zone 2 and games play out worse than pubs. Imagine if we were forced to get 6 KP in competitive tournaments...

The reason why Match Point sucks for players is because actually winning a game is a lot of RNG involved. You can easily be consistent and get top 5 every game but winning every game is impossible in an even lobby. Especially when teams know your comp and can grief.

Can't get too excited for most of the ranked changes in the blog because there's a lack of specifics, but this scares the hell outta me. No one in ALGS spends time outside of zone specifically to avoid teams. Hoping that this doesn't neuter an entire play style 🙏

Realm is the most fun I've had playing Apex in a while. However I think that the ideal way to run @PlayApex moving forward should be making normal ranked solo queue only. Realm should be for full squads and normal apex should be for solos.
