This would be the biggest boon for us tbh It would: 1)End US aid, means NGOs will stop receiving $ & thus stop their cringe 2)Realize our goal of self-reliance 3)Lay bare the nature of US' relationship with us In 90s, India had its fastest year of growth when under US sanctions

If INDIA buys Russian crude oil, INDIA should expect to be sanctioned by the United States. And, believe me, that won’t work out so well for India’s economy. Right now: you’re with US or you’re against us. Simple.

Next 5-7 years are gonna be crucial for India Either we focus on growing our manufacturing base with rapid industrialization Or we remain a highly unequal economy made up of peasants & IT coolies on one side, and feudalists & oligarchs on the other: stagnatation into oblivion
