Goooood morning/afternoon Thunder fans!
Game 1 was a masterclass on both ends from OKC, so lets rewind an look at what happened during the game:
π§΅ππ
Whaaaat's gooooood Thunder fans?! Thread-guy here with some plays of last nights game against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Let's jump right into it:
π§΅ππ
You know who OKC should REALLY go after? Kevin Love, and I'm surprised I haven't seen his name mentioned more often:
- Skilled at rebounding
- Could play in an OKC style of offense
- Championship experience
- Low contract in terms of salary and years
Goooooood evening Thunder fans! Start of Regular Season Basketball = Thread-guy here!
I'll mix it up today and go even MORE in-detail on a few things that didn't go OKC's way and a LOT of things that went OKC's way. So buckle up and enjoy the show πΏ:
π§΅ππ
Despite the loss yesterday, we still saw lots of great moments from the Thunder Rookies and Sophomores.
Here's a thread with some of my favorite plays of the night:
πππ
Goood afternoon/evening Thunder fans!
OKC's future got back into action and delivered big time π³
With now a 2-1 record, the Thunder still have a slim chance to play for the LV SL title π
Let's rewind! Here are my favorite possessions from last nights game π§΅ππ:
Good afternoon thread fans, you know what time it is... THREAD TIMEEE!!!
Let's rewind the OKC GS game from last night (XXXL edition) - Really good basketball from both teams last night:
π§΅ππ
OKC fans know Thunder TV analyst Michael Cage dominates his church league.
But did you know the 1988 rebounding title came down to Michael Cage vs Charles Oakley?
Cage needed 28 rebounds in his final game to win the crown.
Did he get it?
You know what Iβm gonna say partner:
Hello guys, OKC thread-guy here!
Last night the Thunder played at Montreal in front of Lu's friends and family. Though the game didn't end in a win there's soooooo much incredible stuff to take away from this game, so fasten your seatbelt and enjoy the ride!
π§΅ππ
150! MOST points in Thunder History!
WITHOUT Shai, WITHOUT the usual starting bigsπ€―
Instead Giddey, Dort, JDub (gotta name him HIM-Jr), Tre, Iso Joe and Wiggins put on a show π³
Here's a thread with some of the best plays the Thunder made last night against the Celtics:

WHAT. A. GAME. ππ₯΄π΅βπ«π³π±π€
THUNDER WIN AND ARE NOW AT .500!!
OT win against Dallas and so much has been going on...
Let's recap last nights OKC game in a threadπ§΅. Here are some of my favorite possessions:
HOW ARE WE DOING THUNDER FANS?! π€
OKC LIVES ANOTHER DAY AS THEY WIN IN A THRILLER AGAINST NEW ORLEANS AND FACE THE TIMBERWOLVES TOMORROW!
Let's look back at what the Thunder did in this game to stay in the play-in:
π§΅ππ
"having benefit of the whistle"
Shai attacked the rim relentlessly, had multiple buckets a foul wasn't given last night...
Houston finished the game with 4 more FTAs than OKC...
Ok. Guess better π€·ββοΈ
I guess OKC players are just drafted into having the benefit of the whistle
Meanwhile Jalen Green and Sengun are in year 2 and still cant get a call for shit.
Gooood afternoon/evening Thunder fans!
Been a busy workday, so just got back to watch yesterday's Lakers/Thunder game.
Let's rewind a little:
π§΅ππ
Since there's still no info on the Denver pick protection and the draft compensation from Miami, I'll say it out loud:
There's a OKC-DEN-MIA-POR 4 team trade centered around Dame going on.
The result: OKC ends up with two more first round picks
Remove the scoring possessions of each top 10 scorer... what does the rest of their team's scoring efficiency look like?
Golden State's 52.4 TS% outside of Curry would rank last among teams. They've also shot what would be a by far league worst 46.4 eFG% on open/wide open shots.
4 WINS IN A ROW! π₯Ή
- BEST transition defense this seasonπ³
- BEST (!) DEFRTG in the last 5 games π«
The Thunder are on a roll and are now over .500, defeating the Orlando Giant- I mean Magic
Let's review some of my favorite possessions from last nights Thunder game!
According to cleaningtheglass 10-4 Thunder are:
- 3rd in net rating
- 6th in offensive rating and
- 5th in defensive rating
- 1st in opp eFG%
- 2nd in eFG% (Also 1st in TS% via NBA stats)
All while being one of the worst rebounding teams in the league. That's absurd...
As earlier mentioned in the thread I did on the Thunder vs Spurs (check it out if you haven't!!), this clip needs a little more attention. It'll help you appreciate and understand how smart of a player Josh Giddey really is and why he's so incredibly strong in transition:
π§΅ππ
Reed Sheppard continues to hoop like one of the best freshmen in the country. Last night vs Ole Miss:
π₯ 13 PTS
π₯ 3-6 3PT
π₯ 4 REB
π₯ 5 AST
π₯ 5 STL
@KentuckyMBB
So right now OKC sent out:
- Bertans
- Tre
- Micic
- Clips/OKC more favorable '24 (other pick would be less favorable, which was traded for Denver's 1st in '30)
- Two 2nds
And in return they got:
- Gordon Hayward
- (???)
Very excited to know what that ? will be
How are we doing Thunder fans?
Yesterday was a fun (and heated) one in Minnesota π
Let's rewind on some of my favourite plays from last nights gameπ€ :

Whaaat's good?! Thread-guy here with OKC's 2nd regular season game against the Cavs - a real nailbiter. Let's see what went good and what didn't go so well for the Thunder:

HOW ARE WE DOING THUNDER FANS?
Last night OKC won a very important game for their play-in hopes against the Utah Jazz. Thunder still got a chance to get to 40 wins this season π
But first, let's rewind what the Thunder did last night:
π§΅ππ
Gooooood afternoon/evening Thunder fans!
What a win to go into the All-Star break as OKC blows out the Rockets
Here's a thread to summarize last nights game:
π§΅ππ
Looking back at the LAL/OKC game - in a few years it could be seen as a huge turning point in NBA History:
1. As the day LeBron became to greatest scorer of All-Time (obviously), but also
2. as the day the Oklahoma City Thunder presented themselves as the upcoming next dynasty
