Deputies responded to Paynes Prairie overlook on US 441 after receiving a report of a dog stranded over the seawall and in the water. Upon arrival, they located the dog. After much coaxing and the assistance of a Good Samaritan, the dog was removed from his precarious position.

Random Act of Kindness - Today, a mom ran out of gas taking her child to school. She asked the School Resource Deputy for help, but he had to stay on campus. D/S Hart assisted, borrowing a gas can from the school, personally buying her gas and got her back on the road.

While you were sleeping. . . . Deputy Myers and Deputy Atiles-Balbas responded to the Archer area and rescued a young kitten that had been stuck in the engine of a vehicle for several hours. They were able to safely remove the kitty and reunited it with its mother.

Apparently he couldn't read the Residents Only sign. Fortunately, no charges were pressed and we were able to rehome this #gator to a more suitable home.
