#Farmers in #Punjab pay ₹12.18 per quintal for cleaning of #wheat & ₹16.38 per quintal for paddy brought to the Market for sale. In well functioning markets, the seller will have to sell cleaned produce or be prepared to accept a lower price.

Minsitry of Agri. asked 4,700 odd pesticide companies which Import, Manufacturer, Purchase & Sell (technical grade & formulation) to submit mandatory pesticide data but only 314 responded. Why are Licenses of such defaulting companies not cancelled? Who will answer?
