I used to work at tesla and NDA is now expired… My ADAS manager told me they cannot release Single Stack wide until it follows EU regulation / they receive EU rreg approval otherwise they would need different stacks for different countries. I learned of this in Jan 2022

4/ You rely on Lidar for practically all labeling. Lidar = Ground Truth Without Lidar, it’s the Wild West of guessing where an object is in the Camera. Alternatively, Radar can give off 1 data point (i.e this dot is the closest part of a large object to you) does not work

5/ for groups of people. It can only tell you the rough location of the group. Tesla had issues with VRUs (Vulnerable Road Users) so mngmt had us use customer data with VRUs in Camera instead of Ground Truth Machine Data. Customer data does not have Lidar. Only Camera & Radar.

I have a @Fiat 500e and it cost ~ $10 to charge fully for ~ 70 miles of total range I have a Fiat 500 ICE that costs $5 a gallon per 38 miles of range (with a max tank of 320 miles not 70 miles) Therefore, my Fiat 500e is less efficient and cost more per mile than my gas Fiat
