The Salvation Army has reported that they have been experiencing high levels of theft from their charity clothing banks in Lancing and Shoreham and Worthing areas. Please report anyone attempting to empty the banks who are not driving a liveried vehicle or carrying ID.
Officers from our Neighbourhood Policing Team have been out on patrol this afternoon in many of our current hotspots.
Hotspot patrols are directed according to where issues are being reported, so if you witness any form of antisocial behaviour, please report it via 101.

PC Pennels was on patrol in Worthing this week and visited TK Maxx and B&M, where he was able to speak with staff about any concerns they had.
A member of the public also informed us of an attempted theft.

We have received several reports of rogue traders charging excessive amounts of money for claiming to clean residents driveways and roofs, whilst using water from fire hydrants. Please check in on your vulnerable family, friends and neighbours and make them aware.
Officers have linked a number of reports of a man in a grey Nissan Micra approaching children in the Sompting and North Lancing area over the last week. Witnesses or anyone with any information can contact Sussex Police online or call 101 quoting serial 453 of 02/03.
