I don’t get the shade being thrown at Big XII college towns by those not joining us in realignment. They offer amazing game weekend environments unlike the half-assed efforts many Pac schools put forth. We’ll be visiting there for sporting events, not moving there.

The Big XII is definitely messy now. Two duplicate mascots (Wildcats & Cougars), Houston uses ASU’s hand sign, and ASU & TTU both have a tradition of throwing tortillas. Not to mention TTU refers to OKST as XeroxU for a variety of reasons.

College Football is definitely broken. I fundamentally believe players should be able to transfer somewhat freely, profit from licensing their NIL at fair market rates, and be compensated for the work they do. But the rules that govern all of those things are extremely flawed.

Though I am critical of ASU’s leadership, I do fully support Coach Dillingham and continue to believe he was a good hire. Dillingham inherited some extreme challenges, and building the type of program that we all want will require significant booster support.
