If this letter is true, two points: 1. Price of AZ vaccine is around USD3-4 (in UK), that’s RM12-16. 2. Last two shipments of AZ vaccine is from COVAX, which means it was paid using taxpayers money. This is profiteering.

I think lah, dont blame the ppl for thinking the vaccination rate is slow when they made such a fanfare out of it. Countdown to it’s arrival, live telecast of plane landing, photo ops at tarmac, photos of truck convoys. Hype was built & but simply didn’t live up to expectations.

Nephew said the govt issues cloth face masks are the most comfortable ones so far. So we got the adult version to test. He was right. It’s very breathable with elastic bands. It’s so light & soft, almost silky. Doesn’t itch at all. 3 layers, with outer hydrophobic surface.

Having the option to WFH is great for me. Now I send the kid to school on Wednesdays & Fridays. Really enjoy these short walks with her. She is usually super chatty in the morning (definitely didn’t get that from me!) 😂

When I was a HO, I once referred a case to haemato. After presenting, the MO said,”Ok send for Jack too”. I put down the phone & called operator for Dr Jack. No such person. Called haemato again, kena bebel for 15 mins. And that is the story of how I learned about JAK2 mutation.

No we don’t. TBH, health workers are usually uncomfortable when we get recorded, visual or audio. If u want to ensure your dosing is accurate, just ask politely to have a look after vaccinator withdraw from vial to check. Say thanks & let them do their job.

Some info on vaccine efficacy. We tend to make the mistake of 95% efficacy (Pfizer) being 95 out of 100 is protected from the disease while 5 out of 100 will get infected/succumb to disease. But that’s not how vaccine efficacy works. So how did we get that 95%?
