Incredibly disappointing. When will white women learn that by being inclusive, we lose nothing and gain everything? I am a mother. If calling someone else a birthing person or a parent makes them feel safe and acknowledges their identity, what do I lose? Nothing. I lose nothing.

WOMEN OF THE WORLD! We are being stripped of our rights over our bodies, our lives and even of our name! They don’t call us “women” anymore; they call us “birthing people” or “menstruators”, and even “people with vaginas”! Don’t let them erase you! Every human on earth owes you!

Thanks to all the trolls who joined this thread. I've had a shit day and it genuinely provided me with some stress relief egging you all on and then muting you... but also... reading the cut and paste responses that don't in any engage with any of my statements or questions.

From hereon in, I will just be automatically muting any accounts that don't use real names or photos, because it's getting really repetitive dealing with bots. Anyone who wants to meaningfully engage can do so without the cowardice. Peaceout. x

@yodaberg It's nothing to do with race so don't use it to make Bette look bad. You may feel you lose nothing but many others disagree, they feel reduced to a body part or a biological function, the word mother, for instance, means so much to others. What right have you to deny them?

@kirstywakeling I know right?! The cut and paste responses from all the unnamed, unidentifiable trolls that in no way answer any of the question I'm asking...it's just so random. Right?

@yodaberg 'Woman' wouldn't make anyone feel unsafe. You're virtue-signalling. Women bear life to us all. This isn't about TM anyway. TM are seen as a distraction for TRAs. This is about TW, and the redefining of 'woman'. 'Woman' must now encompass men otherwise we are reduced to body parts

@HennieInglis Um. I don't think you know what virtue signalling means. I believe wholeheartedly in inclusion. I wrote a whole book about inclusion. I work around inclusion. Truly, you need a dictionary.

@yodaberg Umm. Sports. You lose sports. And ummm. Prisons. You lose prisons. And uh…privacy. You lose privacy. Dignity. Yes. Dignity. You lose dignity. Scholarships. Yeah yeah. But besides those. Lesbian bars. A nod to @JohnCleese as I write this.

@yodaberg You lose credibility, logic and truth. The former of which should never be sacrificed.

@yodaberg Wow you would give up the word WOMAN so readily? How is that helping the millions of women in poverty all over the world oppressed because of their SEX. Not ‘gender’ When women are treated fairly we can talk until then I will fight for the word WOMAN with all my might.

@yodaberg I agree. If people wish to be acknowledged by the use of a non - binary term, then so be it. It is the job of people in the health, media, legal and public services to uphold basic human dignity and the right to be called by your name is surely the most basic of rights.
