Today, Ohio voters spoke loud and clear - they don't want politicians interfering in their private medical decisions. In Florida, voters are even more bold in their opposition.
Learn how you can help put abortion on the ballot in Florida:
After less than an hour of oral arguments, Chief Justice Carlos G. Muñiz said that he believes Florida voters could understand the ballot question and its implications.
“The people of Florida aren’t stupid — they can figure things out,” Muñiz said.
Today's abortion ban ruling shows us two things:
👀 Anti-abortion extremists will do anything they can to interfere with our private medical decisions.

“There is no question that voters understand what viability means in the abortion context. This is a term and its meaning that have become a part of the cultural fabric of our nation.” - Attorney Courtney Brewer
“This is a disingenuous argument by a politician desperate to block Floridians from voting on this amendment. Voters know what viability means and they will see right through this effort to silence their voice.”
"A lopsided oral argument Wednesday saw conservatives on the Florida Supreme Court openly disagreeing with the state Attorney General’s opposition to an abortion amendment that could rewrite pregnancy termination rules in the state.
