People really are still using a • rather than auto-formatted bullets everywhere. Same can be said for manually numbering shit. I can't tell you the number of times I've had to remove a • and the manual indenting. It's painful. WHY DO YOU DO THIS??? #$%^!!

@yanarchy Could be they copied from another place? It's really annoying to pull text from a bullet list in a pdf and then correct all the formatting.

@yanarchy I often correct formatting for like 15 minutes in other people's documents. It's inexcusable.

@yanarchy This is low on the scale of the bullshit that I have to deal with... Tables made with tabs and spaces... that need to be edited -- which screws up all of that painfully created manual formatting. It makes me want to weep. And that isn't even the worst of it.

@yanarchy When I do it it's usually because the automatic stuff gets it wrong often enough to annoy me

@yanarchy because cells in Excel don't provide bulleted formatting

@yanarchy Like when my students tap enter twice at the end of each sentence instead of using formatting tools to double space…
