Nearly 38 million pounds of litter accumulates on our roads, off-ramps, and public areas each year. If 40% of that comes from unsecured loads, well... that's literal tons of litter you can prevent just by making sure everything in your vehicle is tied down.

State Route 17 is closed in both directions from milepost 93 to 94, outside of Coulee City, due to a wildfire. Washington State Patrol is on the scene and WSDOT crews are on their way. We will update this post as it develops.
