Nancy Sheung 常惠(1914–1979) was a Hong Kong photographer known for her bold lines and frequent focus on female subjects. She was most active in the 1960s and 1970s.
My grandfather became a good friends with Rock Hudson during WWII, they were in the Navy stationed in the Philippines together. When Hudson died my grandfather told me that "Roy" was one of the kindest men he'd ever known. I'll never forget his sadness.
It's a shame that Rock Hudson had to live his life in secret. He did it because there were people like Ron DeSantis & his evangelical buddies around at the time, oppressing people, making them fearful. We can't allow that situation to happen again.

Czech toy designer Libuše Niklová with her Accordian Cat & other animal creations. She got the idea for the accordion toys from a bendy plastic part used in new flush toilets of the era. MoMA called the toys "artistically conceived & technically ingenious." c.1960s

Otti Berger (1898–1944) was a Bauhaus designer, weaver, teacher, and briefly the head of the Bauhaus Weaving Workshop. Berger is the only Bauhaus designer to have sought patents for her textiles. She died at Auschwitz concentration camp in 1944.
