Most folks in my wechat groups of educated professionals believe arrest of Huawei exec Meng Wanzhou crosses a line, makes good point that any exec of companies selling weapons to Taiwan would be breaking Chinese law
@vshih2
let me try to give u an analogy:2108年,中国因其支持琉球省独立宣布制裁尼加拉瓜。

That's not a good point because PRC law is a tool of a one party state, it's not adopted by elected officials or checked by an independent judiciary. I remind you that Nazi racial policies were technically legal.
@vshih2
But is that true? Isn't the allegation that she/Huawei re-exported US technology that was not allowed to be re-exported? See
@donaldcclarke
's tweet. if that's correct, then it's much more specific than just selling weapons to Taiwan.

If they really want to get the CCP, they should just seize all of their US and European assets. All of these fuckers have untold wealth and assets stashed abroad as they don't trust their own system and know there's no rule of law. US could impoverish all these CCP cons overnight
