Went and watched this in a half full theater. Was quite touched by the end. Bumped into some collegemates, and they were like "Kya yaar, Shahrukh itna bore picchar kaayko banaya" That's when I knew, this movie's odds were not too good. But 19 years later, people remember.

Man, what to say about Irrfan Khan. Still recall the 1st time, I saw the man on screen as a kid in Banegi Apni Baat. Think he played a much older character. And played it so well he did, an insecure, abusive father, who later tried to repent for his transgressions.

Heights of comedy here in Mangalore. They lifted the curfew from 6 am to 8 am, so that one could go pick up supplies, but forgot to announce it uniformly. Our area, they showed up to inform the same at 7.30 am. Most lovely

Right, so #Jawan is a solid masala entertainer for the most, except for the final act which descends into proper chaos. But, you've had so much fun on the way that it's a minor hiccup. Shahrukh and Deepika are absolutely solid, Deepika in particular makes the most of her cameo

Right, so Thiruchitrambalam is now on my favorite movies of 2022 list. What a lovely, lovely movie. Proper masterclass in writing, performances, everything. Dhanush, Nithya, Prakash Raj and Bharathiraja absolutely rock the show. Nice feel good movie, watch with full family.

Finally met @skodithala and @nimmajji after 10 years of online phrendsip. Took them to Magharaja for world phaymous Ghee Roast and then to Pabbas for universal phaymous Gadbad Icecream. Most enjoyable Sunday afternoon scenes.
