I get tagged in a lot of messages on here & it's hard to know which are from constituents.
Thank you for your understanding.
The govt’s minister for disabled people
@mimsdavies
appears to disagree with her own govt policy encouraging stakeholders to brand it ‘dangerous.’ This government really is a total shambles. After 14 years of failing disabled people it really is time for change
Proposals to curb Personal Independence Payments (PIP) and change how people are assessed as unfit for work are dangerous.
Disabled people and people with mental health conditions must stop being seen as the problem by this government.

How will the Tories fund their £46bn a year commitment? Currently this money goes to fund pensions and the NHS.
My colleague
@JonAshworth
here putting the questions the Tories can’t answer.
Was great to join The New Hope Project in New Cross this afternoon to talk to the staff & residents there.
They do amazing work supporting men's mental health. A Labour Govt will recruit 8,500 more mental health workers.
Britain’s railways are broken.
Cancellations have soared to record levels, fares have risen almost twice as fast as wages, and taxpayers are paying through the teeth to prop up a failing system.
Labour will deliver a publicly owned railway that puts the passenger first.
Thanks to everyone who attended the Woodpecker community meeting, in my Lewisham Constituency on Saturday.
It was great to hear all the thoughts on the area and I look forward to our plans for the summer.
Thanks to
@dhlexpressuk
for inviting me to visit their centre in Lewisham. It was really interesting to learn about the steps they are taking to improve sustainability.
Ministers lowered performance targets for failing firms…opening the door to lucrative taxpayer-funded bonuses.
Rigging the rules to reward failure.
With Labour, change is coming. We will bring our railways into public ownership as contracts expire.
After leaving the NHS on its knees and making Britain sicker, the Tories have decided to...blame the doctors.
This country is crying out for a general election.
Shameful (but unsurprising) that 58% of disabled people believe politicians don't care about them.
Disabled people absolutely must be at the heart of policy-making.
I will ensure this happens under a future Labour government.
Yet again. Still no employment recovery. Still lower than pre-pandemic. We are the only G7 country not to recover.
Tory failure. Economic decline. Britain pays the price.

Well about time re
@mimsdavies
being made Minister of State. This role never should have been demoted. Disabled people deserve a full time Minister with the seniority to be able to deliver for them.
Ministerial appointments -
@JustinTomlinson
minister of state at energy security and net zero
@mimsdavies
minister of state DWP
and
@AndrewmitchMP
is given the title deputy foreign secretary.
Another reason why I am voting for
@SadiqKhan
on May 2 and asking traditional Lib Dem voters to do the same.
Vote tactically or risk having a Tory Mayor. ⬇️
