1/11 Gm! Excited to finally mint one of my favourite nightscapes. π
"Alignment" was a surreal experience under the night sky in April 2022 when a rare alignment of four planets glistened in a line during the early hours of the morning....π§΅π
Just received word that I am a finalist in the Australian Photographer of the Year awards!! π¦πΊ
I love showing my hometown off to the world, while rugged, it has that Australian outback beauty that really hits. Grateful π₯Ί
What I love about living where I do is the incredible dark skies. This shot was taken in nautical twilight, it's a single image and I use the only lens I have atm, my NIKKOR 14-30mmS F4, yeah that's right F4. π
Raw // Edit
Would love to know why Astro photography is not a demanding genre of photography in the NFT space. Would appreciate any input in to this from collectors or anyone that may have an idea. Thanks.
Absolutely love this time of the night! Shot in nautical twilight when the sun has dropped quite below the horizon but i'm still able to pull some colour out with a 20 second long exposure.
Single shot: 14mm @ f4.0, ISO 1600, 20 seconds.
Editions you say? Don't mind if i do!
"Reach for the stars" is an edition of 100 @ 0.03 $eth.
Appreciate any RT/QRTs and of course if you are a fan on my art then you know what to do. π Link below
Gm gm, the last time Jupiter, Venus, Mars and Saturn all lined up in a straight line was over 1000 years ago, glad I had a clear night and was able to capture this moment ππΌ
Omg I was just casually enjoying my Saturday arvo when I decided to check in on
@withFND
, and there was a freaking bid from
@caktux
!!! I'm so incredibly grateful for your interest in my work. ππ
1\ βSerendipityβ is now live on
@withFND
!
These are the type of conditions landscape photographers get excited for, and a lot of the time with a plan in place. This time was different, completely unplanned with no intentions of shooting sunset.
Gm everyone 𧑠stoked to bring back "Serendipity" on-chain on my own manifold contract in the Light Scatter collection! Grab a coffee and have a read about the shot below βοΈπ§΅...
Did not expect to see anything last night as Iβm 600km north of the coast, but to see the Aurora Australis for the first time along with the setting Milkyway and Small and Magellanic Clouds is special, and copped a purple beam to ππΌ

What boggles my mind is that when collectors speak of βscarcityβ storm photography still hasnβt made enough noise. Scenes like this are some of the rarest on the planet and only few dedicate their time to capture them, naming some below
Hey guys, i think its time i introduced myself. I'm Steve and I'm a landscape photographer from NW Victoria, Australia. I've been into photography for a little over 2 years and it's turned into my passion! Have a read of more below, would love a retweet/quote retweet π
1\ While my success hasnβt been the greatest since Iβve entered NFTs back in March last year, one of my greatest achievements outside of NFTs is getting noticed by Nikon Australia who would through out the year would share my photos on their social media pagesβ¦(thread)
People say to only mint your best work. This is great for me because being a photographer for only 3 years my best work is yet to come π«±πΌβπ«²π»And what I have minted previously is only just the beginning.
Gm, a shot from May 2020 with my canon m50 crop sensor. I wish I captured this with my current camera. Two of my favourite things to shoot in one frame πβ‘οΈ
Still gob smacked by what I can pull out of a RAW file, especially when I only have my trusty Nikkor 14-30mmS F4. Canβt wait to see what I can do when I get some fast glass!
This is a single image 14mm @ F4, ISO 5000, 15 seconds, edited in Lightroom/PS
βSerenityβ on

βI admire this tree's serenity in the midst of so much chaos and uncertainty. It reminds me of how important it is to remain calm and to be able to reflect on our own actions and experiences to move forward.β
Letβs find it a home!
No idea why any of these haven't had bids on them yet, but this is just some of my work available up on Foundation, link in my bio! RTs would be great! Cheers βοΈπΌπ
Storms evoke such powerful emotions. Awe, beauty, chaos, drama, adrenaline, and fear are just some emotions I experience when I'm out there capturing these beasts.
