The FAA came out with a policy yesterday to require re-entry operators to have a license to come back, before they launch.
To be clear, we had written, formal permission to launch last year.
We are always happy to work with regulators as we push the frontier of space factories.
Last year, the FAA gave Varda formal, written permission to launch W-1 & Varda complied w/ all requirements to do so.
Varda will continue working with the FAA and other federal regulators as their policies regarding reentry operations continue to evolve.
