There aren’t much data to support the 'immunity gap' theory. Getting sick doesn't benefit your immune system & not getting sick doesn't harm it! Also, these respiratory viruses do not confer long-term immunity so previous illness wouldn't offer much benefit this year #immunitygap

Moderna will submit data of their #COVID19 #vaccine trial for kids 6 months - 5 years to the FDA for EUA. ⚕️ The dosage induced immune responses equivalent w/ those of young adults pre-Omicron. ⚕️ There were no cases of serious illness or hospitalization.

There’s a confusing belief shared by some that scientists should only be in academia & if they choose an alternative career, they are ‘selling out’ or ‘corrupt’ & can’t be trusted. In reality, science informs everything in our lives & scientists are needed in EVERY SINGLE CAREER.

The currently circulated claims online accusing Pfizer of lying to the public based on a video from 2020 are extremely overstated/inaccurate. They did not lie. Goals of the COVID-19 vaccine were always to prevent severe illness, hospitalization & death.

Recent WHO guidance has been mistakenly taken by some to mean that they recommend that children NOT receive the COVID-19 vaccine but that is not accurate. They simply put the onus on individual countries to make recommendations based on their particular circumstances/resources.
