More importantly, show that you believe animators deserve proper wages and not pittance! This is a bad practice employed for years at all Japanese studios except Kyoto Animation, who pay proper salaries, and we cannot let it extend to western studios!!

For context, Toon City is a very prolific animation studio that acts as an outsourcing studio for both Hazbin Hotel and assistance on Helluva Boss. They have been involved in shows like Tom & Jerry Tales, The Looney Tunes Show and Ducktales 2017, a very talented studio.

To anyone discovering this tweet after it hit 10k, this is the words of Frank Molieri, a man with over 20 years of experience and also animator of almost half of the above Tom & Jerry Tales intro, the other almost half by Eric Goldberg.
Asked my dad about this, most animators get paid much, much more per second of animation. Even as outsourcing, the rates should be higher than that.
