While there are still people here... Markings on the bones from a 40,000-year-old young Ahytherium aureum (extinct giant sloth) suggest predation by a large predator, such as the jaguar.

Very happy to announce another upcoming paper (still in pre-proof) with my art on it! This is Eptalofosuchus, a small notosuchian, and the first crocodyliform described from the Uberaba Formation, Upper Cretaceous of Brazil.

The last painting (and my favorite) for the thematic restaurant. This one depicts the Cretaceous, based on the Caiuá Group. A Vespersaurus checks on a group of pterosaurs wandering through the desert: Caiuajaras and a Keresdrakon.

My latest piece, done for a contest: Holmesina, a giant armadillo from the Late Pleistocene of Brazil, taking nap under a Tabebuia tree, while a Yellow-headed Caracara is having a snack out of the parasitized osteoderms.

An artwork for a friend's paper about a coprolite from the Pleistocene of Southern Brazil. The coprolite was produced by a large carnivore, like Smilodon or Protocyon, and it was full of giant-sloth osteoderms, but small ones, indicating that it came from a juvenile.

Poster updated! Corrected some misspellings and some reconstructions, and kindaaaa tried to arrange the animals in a way that more or less reflect the faunal successions. Changed the colors a bit, with the purple frame having the official color of the Triassic.

The Northwest of São Paulo during the Cretaceous (Adamantina Fm.). The Armadillosuchus awakes from estivation and looks around. With the rain, the semiarid begins to turn green again, attracting titanosaurs and birds. An abelisaur wasn't so lucky during the dry season. #paleoart

Artwork illustrating the research that unravels the skeleton structure of Corumbella werneri, a little animal that lived in Brazil almost 600 million years ago, in the Ediacaran Period. It had a mineralized skeleton composed of rows of imbricated plates, like roof tiles.
