@macsquirelera If I'm not mistaken, "ramming the gate" means they drove through a normal toll booth like gate arm, which triggers this normally hidden massive barrier to spring out of the ground with pyrotechnics or hydraulics.

Thinking over lessons from MFF 1. Be sure to pack a comb, my hair is an absolute mess now. 2. Pack a water bottle 3. People go insane for Kigu boys. 4. Con ops thinks a leaf blower is a gun or a blunt weapon. 5. My body is slowing down and hard to move after sitting.

@OneRadChee Most buses on the road are built upon a truck or van chassis with a fiberglass skin over a square tube frame, just like an RV. They fair extremely badly in a severe crash. Transit/city buses, motorcoaches, and even school buses are built much sturdier.

@rustbeltenjoyer If there's one thing I hate about using GPS is arguing with the GPS every dozen miles or so by it saying I can save 5 minutes on a 500 mile trip by going to I-95 when I specifically want the road less traveled (and slower).

I don't like that the only water at the con center is public fountains, vending machines that won't vend water because it's not labeled, or you buy it for $6 a bottle from a cafe. I haven't seen a headless lounge or water dispensers like at other cons.
