Pricing and negotiating are tricky. If you don't know where to start, always ask the budget. Remember, it's a conversation. I'm also always down to hash out pricing, DM me. The more transparency we have, the more we can leverage our collective value.

@raysquaredart I always think of these questions as the start of a discussion or opportunity to educate on the value I provide. If there's a big disconnect in what the ask and the compensation, I try to find middle ground and understand why.

@toddowyoung It’s a challenge to help clients understand that rates and budgets are two different things. My rate might be $1,000/day, but the budget helps figure out what else can happen besides me showing up with a camera. Want lights? Hair and makeup? Cool location? Studio? That’s budget
