I want to talk about what it’s like to claw yourself out from the depths of hell of an eating disorder relapse and become fat again, only to be told by family and medical providers that it seems like you’ve now “went to the other extreme.”

Taylor Swift’s music video, where she looks down at the scale where it says “fat,” is a shitty way to describe her body image struggles. Fat people don’t need to have it reiterated yet again that it’s everyone’s worst nightmare to look like us.

Every time I get on a plane, I feel absolutely sick to my stomach — terrified that the person sitting next to me will take a picture of me and I’ll end up being mocked on the internet. Put your anger on the airlines for making seats smaller & smaller.

In case you need this, all the research done on intermittent fasting showing “magical results” (short term of course) were done on men and post menopausal women. On younger women, it actually worsens insulin resistance, increases brain fog, worsens mood, & shrinks your ovaries.

Whenever anyone speaks up about weight loss compliments being harmful, someone always pipes up and says, “What’s wrong with trying to be the best version of yourself?” And that’s EXACTLY the problem — that shrinking our bodies is seen as being our best selves.
