Hey, guess what? It's a T-RATED GAME. Okay? Okay. Like are you actually for really reals serious right now? REALLY??? IT IS A T-RATED GAME RIGHT???
It's not even the fanservice they're complaining about here. I'm actually in shock over this absurdity.
Neptunia: Sisters VS Sisters is being patched "to comply with the T ESRB rating." The patch will also be applied in Europe for parity.
The update changes text/audio, and Idea Factory has provided a comparison of the content affected. The game was originally released on Jan 24.
Language/Profanity is part of the fun in T-Rated games or any teen media in general. They all have these words said in them at least once. Taking it all out may as well make it rated E. And where the HELL is the fun in that? Don't sugarcoat when it isn't needed at all. Sheesh.
@thenepqueen
Idea Factory forgot to add the Language descriptor to the submission to the ESRB
it was either patch the game to match or resubmit the game, recall all physical copies and make an entire new second pressing with the updated rating
@FrostedYukio
So let me get this straight; Just because they forgot to put language in the patch, they now have to soften every mild curse word in this game? That's even stupider. Well I hope they learn from this and never make this mistake again otherwise this franchise is screwed.
@thenepqueen
Of all the things that might be too extreme for a T in the franchise, coarse language isnโt one of them.
This isnโt one of Neptuniaโs problems.
@thenepqueen
Donโt you just wish we were still in April Fools.
And what fanservice? Other than the starting camera position of Vertโs transformation scene the game, for once, has nill of it.
Oh yeah, I forgot swearing is a thing. That one Planeptune guardian moved the bar so I forgot.
@thenepqueen
There's nothing damn wrong with language In Neptunia sisters vs sisters because I very don't care what other people think the ESRB obviously didn't put up the language description so I don't give a flying hell what kids think my Neptunia Anime waifu game is not for Damn kids
@thenepqueen
And even so, they should just change it to M rating (Iโve seen Twilight princess get its rating bumped up from โEโ to I think โTโ for future release. Kirby 64 as well)
If the esrb doesnโt wanna reconsider, then at least allow them to rate the game M
