Honestly any of the Saka, Vieira or Nketiah fouls in the box could have been looked at and turned into a penalty if it were the other way around for Utd. See the NLD penalty at Spurs last year. There's nothing you can do against such corruption. We played tremendously well.

When Zinchenko was out and Tierney was in we basically won every game. When Jesus was out and Nketiah/Trossard stepped up we remained top. This just proves that Saliba has been the biggest difference maker to this Arsenal XI. We ship over 2 goals a game without him.

Arsenal spending a huge chunk of budget on guys to most naturally compete with Saka, Odegaard & Gabriel doesn't seem to excite me as much as many of my time line. What am I missing here? I see huge expense with minimal first XI improvement beyond Jesus/Tielemans.

@TheFalseNein RVP Rosicky Nasri Walcott Diaby Fabregas Even people like Adebayor, Eduardo, Ramsey, Denilson, Song, Jack... They were all class. Problem with that era was defence and in goal. Never close to getting it right.

Chelsea next seaaon: Aubameyang Mudryk Felix Sterling Havertz Nkunku Ziyech Lukaku Broja Pulisic Hudson-Odoi Glad Omari Hutchinson went there to further his development though.

I'll tell you what has been unprecedented: 1) Xhaka sent off for a professional foul on the half way line. 2) David Luiz red card penalty vs Wolves. 3) Martinelli double yellow red. Three decisions I have never seen again. Even the Tomiyasu red this season won't be repeated.

@EBL2017 Part of what makes Arsenal so dominant is Xhaka and Partey both being 6ft1 duel monsters and second ball recovery monsters. Arsenal haven't had a physically dominant spine since Gilberto Vieira Toure Campbell. Now we have one.

I really feel the fans should rally around Arteta. One man can't undo 5 years of horrendous recruitment. His biggest error has been telling half the squad they aren't good enough, and they've now down-tooled. It'll get worse before it gets better.
