2. Open every door - I was 18 walking the city streets, visiting VCs, and pitching every day for investment. I had 498 no's, but had one yes. That one yes came from a random contact who had no experience in investing. But he knew a guy... Seek opportunity everywhere.

1. Patiently being impatient - When I began I was told that 'things take time', and to 'be patient'. If I accepted that, it felt as if I would slow down. Approach every day impatiently to keep a high work rate, but accept it will take time. In the end, 3 years wasn't long at all.
