Reminder that the FBI planned to replace Dr. King with Samuel Pierce. Pierce had no connection to the Civil Rights Movement, so the FBI conspired with the NAACP to prop him up as a "Black leader" first. Samuel Pierce would later go on to become Housing secretary under Reagan.
