Productive discussion on Gaza with my dear friend Qatari Minister of State
@Dr_Al_Khulaifi
Qatar's mediation efforts are crucial as we work together to secure an agreement that stops the fighting, gets the hostages out, and allows life-saving aid to reach Palestinian civilians.
Today, Orthodox Christians around the world will be breaking the Lenten fast marking Orthodox Easter. I send my best wishes to you all.
The UK continues to tackle the persecution of Christians globally, and champion freedom of religion or belief for all.
Very sad to see the defeat of the excellent

Many congratulations Sadiq on being elected Mayor for a historic third term - ‘Mubarak ‘ - we have an incredible city, enriched by the diversity of our communities. I look forward to working with you to champion London.
WCK teams are delivering tens of thousands of meals to displaced families in Rafah daily. Alongside our community kitchens, we’ve scaled quickly since resuming operations in Gaza. Our Palestinian teams are working tirelessly to ensure food reaches people in need.

Utterly appalled by the killing in South Darfur 🇸🇩 of two ICRC staff, and injuring of three more. Aid workers are not targets. Those responsible for this heinous act must be held to account.
Following continued West Bank violence, the UK has sanctioned 2 organisations and 4 individuals responsible for inciting human rights abuses against Palestinian communities.
Israeli government must hold those responsible for settler violence to account.

Deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Abu Dhabi Ruler’s Representative in Al Ain Region, Sheikh Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Al Nahyan family and people of the UAE.
WCK teams deliver meals by any means necessary. In Zaporizhzhia, we deployed boats to provide meals to firefighters extinguishing a large blaze that ignited along the Dnipro River. The boats made it possible to reach responders working in challenging terrain.

The 5th Asma Jahangir Conference is a testament to the legacy of the icon herself. Pakistan’s government, civil society and friends must work together with a sincere commitment to human rights and democracy. A pleasure to reaffirm the UK’s commitment at the inauguration.
