Our 3 kids went to school this week, we haven’t left home or seen anyone in weeks. After 5 days at school, our youngest (1st dose Dec 22) tested positive yesterday. I let the school know + sent a note to every parent in our grade. This is flying through schools. #bced

10yrs ago today at VGH. My life was saved w/ emergency surgery removing a 10cm tumour + 3 yrs of chemo. Last year approx 35,000 people in #BC were diagnosed w/ cancer. Community care means we look out for others, like cancer patients + #HCWs Cancer doesn’t care about a pandemic.

9 yrs ago I was fighting for my life in the ER at VGH. I’m now cancer free + forever grateful for the care I received. 2020 saw 35,000 people in BC diagnosed w cancer. Fighting #cancer during a #pandemic while others act like the rules don’t apply to them is beyond selfish.
