Next time you use your card, remember that the merchant does not receive the entire amount you paid! Banks, payment processors and card networks take a cut from the merchant. #Bitcoin fixes this for the merchant, they receive the entire amount paid.

Visual #Bitcoin Dictionary Soft fork is a backward compatible change. Nodes and miners can choose whether or not to adopt the changes. Soft forks result in a temporary blockchain divergence, which resolves itself as the majority of the network adopts the new rules.

How quickly has your node downloaded the blockchain? -A year ago: Umbrel took me ~6 days -6 months ago: Bitcoin Core took me ~7 days -This week: @start9labs took ~ 24 hours 🤯 Don't know what black magic they've done, but I like it! PS. same internet for the three attempts

Visual #Bitcoin Dictionary UTXO...da fk? It an acronym for Unspent Transaction Output, refers to the leftover #Bitcoin when a transaction takes place. If Jane has 1 BTC (input) and sends 0.5 BTC to John Output 1 (utxo) = 0.5 BTC for Jane Output 2 (utxo) = 0.5 BTC for John
