Knowing Chuuya didn't even know what bread was at 7 he must had a period of time when he's curious at EVERYTHING he sees like Rapunzel out of her tower
Building up on this, I'm genuinely concern where Asagiri will bring Chuuya's character development in the future plot, walk with me here
We know from 15, Chuuya wanted to be a good leader (as he consider himself a bad leader) and he admires Mori for being the leader he couldn't-
@verlainette
Aya, pick your ability
"The Black Kimono"
"The Medal, Hair, The Black Hems, Dolls"
"Fragments, The Medal, Dolls for a Special Day, A Friend for Life"
"Kitchen, Raindrops, A Memento of the Season"
You need a certain level of media literacy to enjoy bsd and not to say age has all to do with media literacy but it's a great measurement, I've said it once and I'll say it again bsd is not for everyone
"Chuuya was irrelevant in Dead Apple"
Bro did we watch the same movie??? You could have stopped with "Chuuya didnt do much in BEAST" and OK yes I'd agree but DA? He had the hardest part it was do and u will likely die or don't do and everyone will die
The Sheep trying to show Tiny Chuuya around their territory and he's constantly getting distracted, painting at the most random object asking "what's that?"
Shirase: That's.....a fridge
Chu: What it do?
Shirase: Uh it keeps food *pulls out a cream bun from it*
Chu: B r e a d
Chu: *points* Fridge
Shirase: That's a vending machine *puts money in it*
Chu: B r e a d
Shirase: This is cake.....
Chu: C a k e
Chu:* points* Vending machine
Shirase: That's a claw machine
Chu: Does it give bread?
Shirase:
@petitesmafia
I had a diff vision where Kunikida asked their previous job AFTER he has worked with them for a while and he prefers Chuuya's work ethics a lot more than Dazai, so when the 700k yen question came in
Dazai: we worked the same job
Kunikida: Very funny
Chuuya: we did
K: Impossible
@MiniMafioso
I think Chuuya would choose to turn a blind eye on some things Mori have done but we know Chuuya has himself a sense of principal so what would it take for Chuuya to go: this is too much
Fukufuku out here making their divorce everyone's problem and the most annoying part is that Fukuchi hurt everyone BUT the most annoying person in the room aka Fukuzawa's other ex: Mori Ougai
To me, I don't think Mori would see Chuuya's popularity as a threat bcuz he does wish to find himself a successor which was supposed to be Dazai but that was thrown out the window after he left, so having Chuuya well respected in the Mafia could be a good thing since he makes-
@eros_shimo
Okay so finally coming back to this; I had a lot to say and I dont want to post a million tweets, so here are my thoughts summed up in what turned out to be a friggin' mini essay
@petitesmafia
Imagine having at a 160cm at the doorway going HEEHH as your last imagine of life, like nah God I haven't got the chance to process this and just dies
Which brings me to that one post by Nikki about the similarities between Chuuya and Fukuzawa BCUZ I ARGEE CHUUYA IS CLOSER TO A LEADER LIKE FUKUZAWA THAN MORI
And bcuz I'm out of breath from this thread alrdy I'll talk about some other day
Except Mori is NOT the best leader nor the best teacher to be made example of
Chuuya was only 15, guiding a bunch of other 15 and younger, Sheep was bound to fall apart and the end it wasn't Chuuya's fault it fell apart THE SHEEPS WERE BEING IDIOTIC AND LACK OF TRUST-
So with guilt + blackmail + manipulation Mori raised Chuuya to be his ultimate pawn for stabilising PM (rmbr Mori was still a new boss who didn't have a lot of support in PM, said by Dazai)
THAT BRING US TO WHERE CHUUYA IS HEADING NOW becuz if Chuuya were to truly follow-
Mori's concept of a leader, it would throw away his entire character of who he is and turn out to be like Mori (heck even like Dazai)
Asagiri has hinted heavily in the canablism stageplay Chuuya was going to be next in line to be PM Boss after Mori-
And I wonder how this transition would happen becuz currently Chuuya admits he is not ready to become the next Boss
The only way I see it is that Chuuya overthrows Mori in some way (they have a clash of ideals) we know Chuuya has a wide support from PM, he might kick Mori out
Chuuya faking as a vampire absolutely makes sense bcuz literally who would get that man? No one.
"Who bite him??? How did they get his ass????" NO ONE DID THAT'S MY KING
@DAZAISAUTISM
The Manga is seinen yet the anime feels shonen?? I was an anime only until season 4 when I start reading some parts of the Manga and boy they watered down Dazai so much, basically the whole manga had a different vibe
"I trust Ranpo to solve the issue-"
Actually no bro, you didn't, you trust Chuuya you come in with fake fangs and contact lens and be part of your roleplay because in the end even if the vampire situation didn't turn around Chuuya could still punch that helicopter to shit
