There will be 150+🏀 teams at an AAU event this weekend in Indiana. Simple math...1500 players & 3000 parents. I asked today if we could lift/condition non-sport specific in small groups of 8 and was told “no”. It’s a very confusing world we live in right now. Thanks, Michigan!

6 months ago we didn’t if we would play this season. What we did know was we were willing to do whatever it took to give our kids the opportunity to play. All the work is so worth it for these kids to have these moments - they missed out on so much. They deserve this pure joy! 💙

Sweet! 2-month season. Almost as many weeks as football got to practice before their full season was played. No consideration for extending season into April ⁦ @MHSAA ⁩ or is it just a lost cause and we’re putting off the inevitable??? Basketball is just not safe in MI 😒

@MiFastbreak Move BB back to the fall… 1) Alleviate officials shortage 2) Shrink VB season which has grown to a 9-month season (late summer to HS season to winter travel for all levels of play) 3) Get top AAU programs (VB & BB) to buy into Spring-Summer travel schedules only.

Sitting at home on a Friday night in late January is so un-American. How is there not a PW boys or girls hoop game tonight? Why so many “byes” or “snow dates” in the schedule? @MHSAA needs to get us to 22 games. @CMACathletics needs 2 get Varsity Boys/Girls DH’s on Friday’s.
