It might not actually be that healthy. There’s a potential reading that he treats her as a deity because he’s always paying penitence to her for the Emma Frost affair back in New X-Men. I don’t necessarily subscribe to that but it’s probably there if you want it.

@stealthisplanet It's comics so readers and writers can take it anyway they wish from now until forever, but I like to see it as an absolute wife guy moment. There's layers I think to Scott's reverence of jean. In terms of her fortitude, her power, her kindness, etc.
