Going back to the source, it did move in 2.
(3's design is different, but the idea is the same)

in 2 only her ears are covered so it makes sense that they can move more freely, but in 3 they seem to be attached to the headpiece

Probably right one is more logical... but left one is more accurete to the game... and loks beter.. so yeah: ledt one!
