Sometimes people say to me “But how do you have enough time to see all the films and TV you see? And all the books you read?” I don’t. I make the time. Because it’s part of my job. Artists must consume art.

Anyone who has ever been 17 will relate to THE STARLING GIRL. As someone who has come through big religious trauma I related to it even more. It’s a beautiful film and a complex portrayal of rural Kentucky life (and filmed here). We saw it at @thekentuckytheatre
