OK rewatching the matpat livestream, he says he thinks Into The Pits time period of the MCI was 1986, checks and realizes that it's 1985 I think I know whats going on. This whole time, Matpat has assumed ITPs MCI was in 1986. Thats why he's been against them being canon.
