My clients who were victims of violence taught me those who are on the receiving end of the most violence sometimes become the softest and most gentle. They bravely break the vicious cycle of violence. The other trauma response is to repeat the violence unto others: watch news!

One trauma response is to repeat it unto others (as we see happening). Another is to process it which is… very difficult, to say the least.

Indeed, ICJ itself does not have a military force as such to enforce but enforcement comes from the Member States of the UN taking a stance, actually imposing sanctions, putting the constructive peer pressure on Israel to abide and comply.

Yes we know Israel won't abide by the ICJ ruling, but the ICJ is the highest court of the United Nations, and members states of the UN will now be looking to enforce the ruling. This will put pressure on Israels allies - especially the US.

It is sci fi fiction uncomfortably close to reality and sometimes possibly very questionably misappropriating reality. The best part might have been when Paul Atreides yells at his mother for their actions— not saying anymore for avoidance of spoilers. 2/3
