Awful news that Joyce Sims has died at the young age of 63. Her 1987 debut album, co-produced with Kurtis Mantronik, had three brilliant singles: Come in to My Life, (You Are My) All and All and Walk Away - all written by Joyce. The remixes were amazing. #RIP

I'm continuing to 'sort out' vinyl and CDs that have been in storage. Despite having both of these #KateBush titles on laserdisc, I really can't bring myself to part with these VHS tapes. "It's an illness" would be my mother's uncharitable view of such behaviour 😄

So sad to hear the news about Olivia Newton-John. I have vivid memories of seeing Grease at the cinema when I was 8 years old. Her performance with John was amazing & all those massive chart hits at the time are a wonderful early memory for me, in terms of just loving pop music.

Gave this a blast yesterday. I was massively into this album when it came out which means despite 'Parklife' and all the plaudits for the ' #Blur ' album, 'Modern Life Is Rubbish' remains my favourite long-player of theirs. Anyone else agree?
