I don't like small talk, but I love good books and other great art, including good music and comedy. Good books and art really speak to you. Someone might spend 1,000+ hours crafting a book that takes you or I only an hour to read. That's big talk. I like big talk. 🙂

When you stop trying to read people's subtext and operate under the assumption there is no problem unless a person explicitly tells you otherwise, it frees you from the mental prison of desperately or anxiously trying to guess and interpret immature people's emotions for them.
