At Target I overheard a kid with their family say “What is the B word?” And their parent just shrugged and said “I don’t know, sorry.” The kid repeated this question a few times and the parent feigned ignorance and finally the kid sighed and said “Maybe the B word...is bread.”

The Grevy's Zebra is an older species than the Plains Zebra you normally see in documentaries. They are taller, they have big ears, a white belly, thinner stripe patterns, and a dorsal stripe They are also very endangered with only 2,500 to 3,000 individuals in the wild

The Gorgon sisters were Stheno, Euryale, and Medusa. The two older sisters were immortal. The youngest, Medusa, was not. The pain the three suffered was unimaginable, but the worst was when three became only two after Perseus killed Medusa. Euryale in particular was overcome🐍

Hair finally free, she is no longer bound to the earth. She is out for blood🩸 I decided to draw a vampire with a strong influence from the idea of the Estries, essentially vampires of Jewish folklore. In the Sefer Hasidim it says they can fly if their hair isn't tied back.

The harpy could not fly well with her small wings, but her long tail and shining plumage were the envy of all ✨ Wanted to make a harpy creature that was a bit different from other ones I've made. She is inspired by pheasants, hawks, and the Long-tailed Widowbird.

Will you escape the Minotaur's labyrinth? Half human, half animal but with no home in either world. The Minotuar lurks among a maze, alternating between extreme rage and utter loneliness and deep sorrow. I've never drawn the Minotaur before, so this was a fun new experiment!

This is the Alkonost. On the morning of the Apple Feast of the Saviour day the Alkonost flies to an orchard, where she rejoices and laughs. The Alkonost brushes the dew from her wings, giving healing powers to all fruits within the tree that she roosts🍎✨

Keep your doors and windows shut! Soak rags and towels and ring them out to make them damp and stuff them into any door gaps or drafty windows. You need to try to keep any smoke you can out and this will help filter that out as well as keeping ash from getting in

I'm a big fan of imperfect women characters in media. Did she make a bad choice? Interesting. Was she selfish? Fascinating. Was she led astray? Compelling. All of that is more interesting to me than a perfect woman character who never messes up, or has a troubling emotion.

Wear a mask if you go outside! A KN95 or N95 mask is best, but literally a cloth mask will do in this case because the goal is keeping out the ash and other particles. Do not go maskless, it will destroy your throat and harm your lungs
