Did you know that we have a bisexual woman to thank for pride as we celebrate it today?
Brenda Howard was a bisexual, Jewish and polyamorous feminist activist. She is also known as the Mother of Pride.
She created/organised the first Pride parade, the Liberation Day March.
bi who is tired of explaining people that the ‘bi’ in bisexual has never been about gender. the ‘bi’ doesn’t mean men and women. the ‘bi’ doesn’t mean two genders. bisexuality isn’t binary or limited. never has been, never will be !!!
Enough of bisexual women saying "ugh yeah I'm bisexual, I am unfortunately attracted to men too"
I understand that biphobia has made bi women internalise it and have made them feel like their attraction to men is something to be ashamed of, but it's not. Don't be ashamed of it
‘INSIDE OUT 2’ (2024) is set to be Disney’s first theatrical animated sequel of the decade.
The movie is a “new adventure inside the head of now-teenager Riley—who may or may not be feeling all kinds of new Emotions.”
bi who hates how everytime a bi talks about attraction regardless of gender someone goes "thats actually pansexuality" like shut the hell up ??? i hate bi erasure
You notice how all of them are bi? When we bisexuals say that bi people are more likely to face IPV because of the bi stereotypes, biphobia, listen to us!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to bi people!! I hope every bi person has wonderful time/holidays! Remember to drink plenty of water and get enough sleep!
there is an inherent queerness to bisexuality that everyone loves to erase and I'm here to say: fuck that, bisexuals are queer 24/7, regardless of the given situation we're in, no matter who we date; man, woman, enby, or even if we don't date anyone, we are queer, will always be.
Bi that is tired of people assuming pansexuality is the "inclusive sibling" and/or associating transphobia with bisexuality. I'm tired of explaining that Bisexuality doesn't leave out gender-non-conforming people and being answered with the same biphobic sht over and over
A reminder that you don't have to do anything you don't want, to "prove" your bisexuality. You don't need to have a history of partners of different genders to be bi or force yourself to do things you don't want for you to be "truly bi" you are already bi if you identify as one
Bi person who would genuinely love to see more bi for bi M/F pairings in media. Just because we choose to date the opposite gender doesn't mean it invalidates our sexuality.
Bi who is tired of seeing bisexuals changing their label to "pansexual" because it's more "progressive," "it includes all genders" and it's "for people who don't have preferences" is sad and it just perpetuates stereotypes and lies about bisexuals. Bisexuality includes all +
Since there has been so much biphobia lately, let's share bi positivity! Share your bi experiences, bi hcs, bi favorite characters,bi movies, bi books, bi accounts, bi memes and so on! 🩷💜💙
A friendly reminder that you are still bisexual if you feel attraction to multiple genders but only choose to date women/prioritise women. It doesn't make you any less bi. You have a preference and that's fine
Bisexuals are so awesome. Bi women are amazing. Bi men are the coolest. Bi enbies are fabulous. Bi poc are lovely. Bi aspec people are fantastic. Bi disabled people are magnificent.
Love to bi people who are in the closet too. Bisexuality is beautiful 🩷💜💙
